  2. RICA: Please submit a copy of your official RICA results
  3. TPA: Please submit a copy of your official TPA results.

PLEASE NOTE: All preliminary teaching credential programs will accept evidence of CPR certification from both face-to-face and online sources that meet the criteria of the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC). A valid CPR card must be on file at the time of recommendation for a preliminary teaching credential. 

Clear Applicants:

  1. Infant, Child & Adult CPR. Copy front & back of current CPR certification. Make sure card is signed prior to submitting. Applicants who completed acceptable CPR training while not enrolled in a teacher education program, but were employed as a teacher at the time may submit an expired CPR card. However, the applicant must submit a letter from the administrator on official letterhead stating dates of employment and during that time a valid CPR card was held.

PLEASE NOTE: If you were initially trained outside of California or prior to SB2042, be advised that CSUF Teacher Induction Programs meet ONLY the following renewal requirement: "The holder must satisfy the professional level requirement by completing a Commission-approved Induction Program."
