Welcome to the Credential Preparation Center
The Credential Preparation Center office is currently closed until further notice, but available via email. Please email us at the links below under "Contact Us."
Due to the COVID 19 crisis, we understand students may have difficulty completing the admissions requirements for our fall 2020 credential programs. We want to encourage you to apply to our programs regardless and have developed the following procedures as temporary solutions to barriers you may encounter:
CBEST and CSET cancelled exams and Certificate of Clearance: if you are applying for fall 2020 and have not been able to complete these requirements, please continue to turn in all other application materials and we will continue to process your application. Our admission staff will communicate how requirements are being modified to accommodate applicants during this time.
Completing fieldwork experience in pre-requisite courses: Students who are enrolled in a spring 2020 pre-requisite course that has a fieldwork/school observation requirement will not be held to the full required hours for admission purposes. This only applies to students who are completing these requirements in spring 2020. This will also apply to students who are completing these requirements with articulated courses at community colleges.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding these updates. We are here to support you.
