PROGRAM Mission

The Men of Color in Education program is designed to prepare students for long term professional success in the Teacher Pathway. We work towards closing the opportunity and resource gaps for students of color interested in becoming educators. Our goal is to build a community and network of men of color interested in the teaching profession.

Men of Color in Education is open to all CSUF students interested in supporting Latino and African American/Black undergraduate men in obtaining a teaching credential and becoming teachers for social change. MCE does not consider race, color, national origin, sex, or any other protected status in order to participate in MCE programs and activities.
