Ms. Williams provided details regarding the hiring process, the interviews she completed while seeking a position in instructional design and her growth as an instructional designer throughout her first year in a corporate setting. As the only instructional designer in the company, Cameryn works to create modules for new hires, modules to train associates on the selling system, as well as new product modules for approximately 400+ employees company wide. She has grown as a multifaceted ID professional, as graphic design, videography and even some web development have also become a part of her job description. She was an exceptional guest speaker and responded to a wide range of questions from current students seeking employment. Her research focused on digital learning in the workplace, and effective instructional design strategies that promote training transfer. The goal of her project was to analyze how accountability, job utility, and motivation are key aspects of training transfer. In addition, she explores how simulations, tutorials and mastery learning help employees transfer what they have learned. Ms. Williams, M.S. is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society.
