Assistant Dean for Student Affairs

As the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, I am committed to fostering student success, equity, and community within the College of Education. I serve as a central point of support for undergraduate, credential, graduate, and doctoral students—helping you navigate academic programs, connect with campus resources, and thrive personally and professionally.

Candidate Improvement Plan

Earning a credential is a developmental process, and professional growth is expected throughout the credential program. This improvement plan identifies specific concerns, the policy or professional standard connected to each concern, and the actions required for the candidate to successfully continue in the program. The purpose of this plan is to provide clear expectations, support professional growth, and document the actions needed to address the concerns identified.

Credential Preparation Center

The Credential Preparation Center (CPC) supports CSUF credential candidates through the final step of earning a California credential. We review applications, verify requirements, and recommend qualified candidates to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

Professional Disposition Statement

Faculty model and encourage all candidates to reflect on dispositions that represent the values and attitudes expected of professionals in the field of education. These dispositions are based on the Education Unit’s conceptual framework and encompass several behavioral indicators within the three program outcomes.

SchoolsFirst Center for Careers in Teaching

We are the undergraduate advising office and student success center for all future teachers at Cal State Fullerton, regardless of major. We are here to guide you as you explore your interests and develop your skills to become an educator.

Student Clubs

The Education Inter-Club Council (EICC) brings together student organizations in the College of Education, supporting leadership, collaboration, and belonging. As a funding body of Associated Students Inc. (ASI), EICC helps finance student clubs, events, and travel to conferences. The club also serves as an advisory board and a liaison between the College's clubs, student body, and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.

A central resource for faculty and students, providing essential university policies, academic expectations, and support resources. Through an interactive accordion layout, it details topics such as equitable education goals, course modalities, professional standards, technical requirements, and netiquette guidelines.
