What We Are

C-REAL is a university-based research and strategy center advancing equity, student success, and organizational effectiveness across educational systems. We partner with colleges, universities, and educational organizations seeking rigorous research, climate insight, and evidence-informed strategy that strengthen institutional practice and student outcomes.

Founded in 2008, The Center for Research on Educational Access and Leadership (C-REAL) is housed within the College of Education at California State University, Fullerton(CSUF), the flagship institution of the California State University system - the largest and most diverse public university system in the nation. Our work draws on organizational leadership, educational psychology, and culturally responsive research to examine how institutions design, implement, and sustain practices that support meaningful outcomes for students and communities.
