Inez N. Moore, PhD is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Center for Research on Educational Access and Leadership (C-REAL) at California State University, Fullerton. She leads the center’s research and strategic initiatives and serves as Principal Investigator of the Black Student Success Project, a longitudinal study examining the experiences and outcomes of Black students at CSUF. Her work supports colleges and universities in developing evidence-informed approaches to student success, equity, and organizational effectiveness.

Through C-REAL, Dr. Moore oversees a portfolio of research, evaluation, climate studies, and leadership development initiatives that examine how institutional environments shape the experiences and outcomes of historically marginalized students. Grounded in organizational leadership, educational psychology, and culturally responsive research, her work centers rigorous inquiry alongside practical application for institutional leaders and practitioners.

Dr. Moore is a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, faculty, and organizations seeking research and strategy that are both methodologically sound and actionable. Prior to her current role, she served as Dean of College Equity, Inclusion, and Engagement at Riverside City College, where she led institutional initiatives focused on student success, equity, and community engagement. This practitioner-leadership experience continues to inform her approach to research, consultation, and capacity building with educational institutions. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Howard University.

Keyla Sanchez Tapia, Ed.M., serves as the Program Analyst for C-REAL. In her current role, Keyla supports the implementation of C-REAL's projects, with a focus on improving data use, assessment quality, and reporting processes. She collaborates closely with institutional partners, program staff, and stakeholders to strengthen evaluation practices and alignment with program goals and federal requirements.

Keyla holds a bachelor's degree in Human Services with a minor in Public Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and a master's degree in Education Policy and Analysis from Harvard University. Her academic and professional interests center on gaps in research related to immigrant students, college access, and graduate education pathways.
