For future science and mathematics teachers

The PRISE Summer Internship for Science or Mathematics teachers is open to junior, senior, or post-baccalaureate students pursuing certification as science or mathematics teachers. As an intern at places such as the Fullerton Arboretum, Girls Inc., Discovery Cube, and Crystal Cove, you will gain valuable experience developing and implementing a science or math education project.

PRISE Summer Internship

The program Promoting Resources in Informal Science Education encourages gaining experience.

As an intern, you'll gain experience developing a science or math project at partner organizations like Fullerton Arboretum, Santa Ana Zoo, and Discovery Cube, with stipends ranging from $1,500 to $1,600

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

  • Good academic standing and 2.5+ GPA
  • Planning/pursuing a single-subject teaching credential in science or mathematics.
  • Completed at least one prerequisite course for a single-subject credential or passed a CSET subtest in mathematics or science (preferred, not required).

MUST BE A CSUF STUDENT IN FALL 2026

Application Due: May 5, 2026
