We look forward to this opportunity to engage in dialogue and collaboration around shared goals of learning and advocacy at every stage of education.

Resume & Portfolio Resume Swap and Tune Up - Hosted by the Education Inter-Club Council

Join us for a hands-on, drop-in resume and portfolio workshop designed for future educators, counselors, and higher education leaders. Whether you are applying for credential programs, student teaching placements, higher education internships, or full-time educator or admin roles, this session offers peer-to-peer feedback and live reviews.
Participants can expect:
- Constructive, 1-on-1 feedback on resumes, cover letters, and digital teaching/professional portfolios.
- Practical tips for tailoring education-focused action verbs, classroom experience, and transferable skills.
- A collaborative, low-pressure space to network with fellow COE students across undergraduate, credential, and graduate programs.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a printed or digital copy of their current resume or portfolio draft.
Work Smarter, Not Harder: AI for Literature Reviews - Hosted by the Library
Location - PLN 103

Learn how to create more effective literature reviews by combining strong search strategies in library databases with AI tools. This workshop will cover techniques for finding scholarly sources, refining database searches, and using AI as an organizational tool and thought partner to organize, synthesize, and identify themes and gaps in the literature. Participants will leave with practical strategies to make the literature review process more efficient and effective.
Opening doors for Linguistic Inclusion - Hosted by the Bilingual Authorization Program

A panel of former Bilingual Authorization students will share their experiences in the program and how to develop linguistically inclusive classrooms where students can use their full linguistic repertoires.
