Teacher Recruitment Project 2025-2026 Scholarships

Are you a current or incoming teacher candidate in CSUF’s Multiple Subject Credential Program? Do you have strength in math and/or science? The Teacher Recruitment Project (TRP) offers scholarships to support current students pursuing additional credentials in Mathematics or Science. These awards are designed for candidates interested in teaching at the middle school level or above.

Please review the information below carefully to determine your eligibility and to ensure you meet all timing and submission requirements.

Important Note Regarding Timing: TRP Scholarships can only be awarded to current students. Thus, you must be mindful of the CSET test release dates to ensure that scores do not arrive after you have graduated or completed the credential program and you must submit them to the TRP director ([email protected]) prior to the end of your final semester (see deadlines below). Links for the release dates are found on the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing website for the CSETs:

  • CSET 211, 212, 213 (Math)
  • CSET 215 (Science)

We encourage you to save this information.

DEADLINE: Ongoing; Students completing their degrees or credential programs in spring 2026 must submit the application and documentation no later than Monday, April 27, 2026.

Questions: Contact Dr. Kim Norman at [email protected]. *If you have graduated and are no longer a CSUF student, please contact Dr. Kim Norman for alternative funding.
