Program Mission

The Titan Future Teachers (TFT) program empowers and equips students to become innovative and compassionate teachers who lead the charge in creating inclusive learning environments. We strive to build intentional community, foster academic and professional development, and advocate for anti-racist, equitable education.

About the Program

Titan Future Teachers (TFT) is designed to support undergraduate students interested in entering a teaching credential program and pursuing a career in education. Through community-building, advising, workshops, and professional development, TFT helps students explore their identity as future educators and navigate the teacher preparation pathway with confidence.

How to Join Titan Future Teachers:

  • Attend the Kickoff Event: All students interested in joining TFT must attend the Kickoff event, which is held at the beginning of each semester. This event is a great opportunity for new members to learn about the program and meet future teachers.
  • Participate in Bi-Weekly Workshops: Once you join, students are expected to attend workshops and socials held every other Friday from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. These workshops and socials are designed to provide ongoing support, professional development, and community building opportunities.
