College of Education Commencement Information

The following is information for students who are Master's and Ed. D. candidates. A separate ceremony will be held for our credential students. Please visit our Credential Ceremony page for more information.

Location: Engineering and Computer Science Lawn
Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Commencment Speakers/Volcalists

Auditions are NOW open for the Commencment speaker and vocalist.  Please refer to the flyer PDF File Opens in new window for details.  DEADLINE TO SUBMIT : March 1, 2019 at 5:00p.m.

Tickets are required for your guests to attend the ceremony. Lap children do not need a ticket. Online ticket distribution will begin on (TBA).  More information regarding ticket distribution will be emailed to candidates.

Commencement Dress

Caps and gowns are mandatory for the commencement day ceremonies and will be available for purchase at the Titan Bookstore beginning (TBA). Ed.D. and Master's candidates will be hooded during the ceremony. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended as there will be considerable walking and the graduate's chairs will be on the lawn.

Accommodations For People With Disabilities

For information on how to request services, please visit the Disability Support Services Opens in new window commencement site. Please be aware that you may be required to walk a considerable distance and that shuttle service will not be provided from parking lots or between ceremonies.  Guests will have an opportunity to check out a wheelchair for free if needed.  Please note, this service is available on a first-come first-served basis.
