PD-ROM continues to offer exciting online professional development for middle school mathematics teachers. Two participant cohorts completed the program during development. Two pilot groups are participating in Fall/Spring 2009. Additional cohorts will launch in September 2009.

Module 1 Launch and Teacher Participant Orientation – Tuesday, October 5, 2004
PD-ROM was launched as teacher participants met as cohorts for their orientation to the PD-ROM professional development materials. The orientation began with a state-wide videoconference involving project directors and staff, web platform developers, and tech support.

Online Facilitators Training - September 22 and 23, 2004
Our four online facilitators, Jackie, Rhonda, Trisha, and Heidi, were trained during this face-to-face meeting at Orange County Department of Education. They were joined by Jason Ediger, Course Instructor, and Mike Lawrence, Instructor and Facilitator Trainer.
