Teaching Performance Assessment
All multiple and single subject preliminary credential candidates attending fifth year, intern, or blended teacher preparation programs in California need to pass the Teaching Performance Assessment (TPA). More on Teaching Performance Assessment.
Annually, each department in the College of Education selects and recommends to the dean a graduating master’s student as an Edwin Carr Fellow. Department faculty select this individual based on two criteria: meritorious achievement throughout the master’s program and holding promise for making significant contributions to the profession. See our award recipients here.
