Teaching Credential: Intern Program

CSUF Multiple Subject Credential Intern Program

For questions about admissions, contact Kim Case at kcase@fullerton.edu - (714) 278-5859

1) Option A

This is a three-semester program that begins during the spring semester only. The first semester is full time and the last two semesters include evening classes only. The program enables candidates to complete the final two semesters of their professional preparation while teaching full-time while earning full teacher salary and benefits. Prospective candidates interested in this option must first apply and be accepted to the regular Multiple Subject Professional Preparation Program in the semester prior to their anticipated enrollment. Near the completion of the first semester, candidates may apply for status as an intern candidate. If approved, admission is contingent upon employment with a participating district (see a list of multiple subject intern districts).

2) Option B

As a student currently enrolled in our traditional three-semester program (which differs from Option A), you will also have the opportunity to become an intern. As a candidate in this program, you will only take classes in the evenings (3 semester program link ). At the start of any semester of the program, you are eligible to become and intern. To become an Option B Intern you must 1) receive approval from your Block Leader and 2) receive a job offer from one of our approved districts (multiple subject intern districts).
