Dr. Green, a former elementary and junior high teacher, joined the faculty in 1999 after earning his Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology and Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana University. Dr. Green served as the director of distance education at CSUF from 2001-2005. Dr. Green conducts research on online teaching and learning, 1-to-1 computing, and integrating educational technology into the teaching and learning process. Dr. Green’s work has been published in journals such as Computers in Schools, International Journal of Research on Distance and Open Learning, Journal of Digital Learning in Teacher Education, Journal of Educational Computing Research, Journal of Research on Computing in Education, Learning and Leading with Technology, and TechTrends. He is actively involved in several professional organizations: AECT, AERA, ATE, ISTE, and SITE. He has authored and co-authored several books on instructional design and educational technology for Pearson, Routledge, Corwin, Shell Education, and ISTE Press.
