Dean’s Advisory Board

The Board is made up of school district superintendents and assistant superintendents who meet with our College leadership once a semester to discuss our educational programs and how we can increase the success of our teacher candidates. The Board also discusses the needs of the districts and how the College of Education can help meet those needs. This Board meets once a semester and is chaired by the Dean of the College of Education.

Leadership Council

The College of Education Leadership Council is committed and dedicated to philanthropic and community support for the California State University, Fullerton, College of Education. The Council is made up of College supporters who have an understanding and appreciation of the role and mission of the CSUF College of Education. They can facilitate this understanding through a positive attitude toward the college and by being an informed member about key programs and services. Through the advocacy role, Council members can provide leadership in obtaining public understanding for the role and mission of the College of Education, thus building a bridge between the college family and the community. The Council meets once a semester and is chaired by the Dean of the College of Education.

AURTEC

AURTEC stands for All University Responsibility for Teacher Education Committee. This committee is made up of our College leadership as well as deans, associate deans, and faculty of programs in other CSUF colleges whose undergraduate students feed into our teacher education programs. The committee serves to inform and consult with those involved in teacher education for the purpose of improving pathways to teaching and program effectiveness.
