The College of Education partners with several advisory groups to assist with support and future planning.
The Board is made up of school district superintendents and assistant superintendents who meet with our College leadership once a semester to discuss our educational programs and how we can increase the success of our teacher candidates. The Board also discusses the needs of the districts and how the College of Education can help meet those needs. This Board meets once a semester and is chaired by the Dean of the College of Education.
AURTEC stands for All University Responsibility for Teacher Education Committee. This committee is made up of our College leadership as well as deans, associate deans, and faculty of programs in other CSUF colleges whose undergraduate students feed into our teacher education programs. The committee serves to inform and consult with those involved in teacher education for the purpose of improving pathways to teaching and program effectiveness.
