The College of Education, the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership Program (Ed.D.), and the Center for Research on Educational Access and Leadership (C-REAL) host an annual Research Symposium. The event features posters that identified solutions to educational problems based on applied research conducted by doctoral students from the P – 12 and Community College Leadership program specializations. The program includes a poster session by Ed.D. alumni, selected Master of Science students in the Educational Leadership Department, and other invited presenters. Presentation topics concentrate on P-12 and community college issues and implications for leadership, diversity, and access. Following the poster session, a panel discussion is held to further discuss their research and how the results of their studies can lead to different approaches to improving the research. This program is in result of the growing research culture in the College of Education. The talents of our faculty, staff, and students are displayed for the 200+ attendees, including many community partners.
