What sets Cal State Fullerton’s Special Education Graduate Programs apart?

Our online graduate program is designed for full-time teachers who are ready to take their careers to the next level. Over the course of our 21-month program, teachers work collaboratively to explore educational equity and justice, evaluate and design culturally and linguistically sustaining curriculum, and experiment with innovative uses of educational technology. Our online program features small class sizes, synchronous and asynchronous learning, and opportunities to create a curriculum for and conduct research in your own classroom.  All students, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin, or any other protected status, are welcome.

CSU Fullerton faculty members are actively involved in our neighboring schools, helping teachers and performing applied research. The department is substantive, technical, theoretical, practical, realist, and entrepreneurial. US News and World Report has recognized our online graduate program in special education as among the country's best online graduate degrees.

Next Zoom Orientation Session: Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.    Zoom Orientation Session
