Master of Science: Curriculum & Instruction

The MS in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction is designed to help career classroom teachers upgrade their skills, become informed about new ideas in elementary teaching, and prepare for curriculum and instructional leadership in one or more of the following areas: elementary classroom teaching, meeting the needs of diverse learners, early childhood education, staff development, and technology in education in public and private schools.
Students may choose from a number of study plans. They may follow the general Elementary Curriculum and Instruction plan in which there is no emphasis, or may choose to emphasize one of the following areas of study: Diversity, Early Childhood Education, Professional Inquiry and Practice, Staff Development, or Technology in Education
