First Things First

1. Attend an overview. For overview schedule, go to http://ed.fullerton.edu/adtep/EDELOverViews.htm.
   You can also watch the Overview as a Podcast. There are 5 parts to the Overview module.  The Overview Modules are available below.
   You will need a media player, such as Windows Media Player, to view the podcasts.

   • Module 2: Academic Requirements
   • Module 3: Additional Requirements
   • Module 4: Application Process
   • Module 5: Bilingual Candidates

2. Apply to CSUF. Prerequisite courses fill up quickly. As a regular CSUF student, you have a better chance of getting into these classes. Extended Education students may also register for these courses, but they are given the lowest priority, and many times courses are full by the time they register.
   
   
3. Sign up for the CSET. You must take and pass the CSET before you are admitted to the Credential Program and take credential courses.
   
   
4. Sign up for the CBEST. You must pass the CBEST before you are admitted to the Credential Program.
