Christine Mayfield
Christine Mayfield is a full-time faculty member in
the Department of Elementary and Bilingual Education. Christine
received her Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree and Multiple Subject
Teaching Credential from CSUF. She considers CSUF to be her home
away from home. Christine works primarily in the Multiple Subject
Credential Program. Working with student teachers in nearby
elementary schools is very enjoyable and constantly keeps Christine
in touch with today's young children. Christine taught in Anaheim
City School District and Corona Norco Unified School District for a
combined 13 years in elementary schools. During Multiple Subject
Program course sessions, Christine often draws upon this experience
to relate theory to practice. Christine focuses her instruction on
guiding students to be advocates for children and change agents in
education. She looks forward to a full career at CSUF including
writing literature and curriculum for children.
