New Application Process - CCTC Online Application Process

To obtain your credential application please visit the Credential Preparation Center located in College Park, Suite 740 or contact our office at (714) 278-3205.
Fees
California State University, Fullerton charges a $25.00 fee for all credential applications processed through our office. You may submit a personal check, cashier's check or money order made payable to CSUF.
The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing fee is not payable at the time your application is submitted to the Credential Preparation Center. Once the Credential Preparation Center has confirmed that you have met all the credential requirements, you will receive an e-mail from the CCTC who will instruct you to complete the credential application online and submit your CCTC (paid with either Visa or Master credit or debit card) through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing's secure website. *There is an additional $2.00 fee for all online applications through the CCTC. Application Process
You will need to provide the Credential Preparation Center with the Credential Application Information Card, a processing fee of $25.00 in the form of a personal check made payable to CSUF and all missing documents. Please refer to your first semester evaluation which indicates the supporting documentation needed. All documents must be official. No unofficial documents or test results will be accepted.
The online application recommendation is a two-step process. Once California State University, Fullerton submits the necessary data to recommend you for a credential, an e-mail will be sent to you informing you of the availability of the recommendation and instructions on completing the online portion of the application and submitting payment. If your internet provider is AOL you'll need to do this portion manually. Please refer to the instructions below. As soon as you complete the above tasks, an e-mail will be sent to you verifying the submission of the application and credential recommendation. Please be advised that you will not receive a confirmation letter from California State University, Fullerton. Your confirmation letter will be e-mailed directly to you from the CCTC within 10 days of the CCTC receiving your VISA or MasterCard debit or credit card payment. The same day your confirmation letter is e-mailed to you, the CCTC will place your credential document in the mail to you. Instructions For AOL - Manually Accessing Online Application
- Go Online and type in the following web address:
- https://teachercred.ctc.ca.gov/cctc_phase3/InteractionMgr?interactionmgr.interaction=Enter_ApplicantLogin
- The page titled Credential Recommendation should come up
- In the section titled Applicant Log In, enter your social security number and date of birth
- Continue to follow all instructions, entering all necessary information
- Print out Confirmation Page, as this is your receipt
Transcripts
Please provide official transcripts with your credential application for any coursework taken outside of California State University, Fullerton unless previously submitted to Admission to Teacher Education or the Credential Preparation Center.
