A Message from Dean Cavallaro

Welcome to the College of Education at Cal State Fullerton.  I hope you’ll enjoy exploring our web site, where you’ll find information about our acclaimed programs for preparing teachers and educational leaders.

Our programs are well known for their excellence. Cal State Fullerton has the only program in Orange County that is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation in Teacher Education (NCATE). We had a very successful re-accreditation visit in November, 2007, with all program standards met for all credential programs we offer. We also received a very positive verbal report from the NCATE team and await final word on the re-accreditation decision in April, 2008.

Please be sure to check out the News and Events section, where we have posted stories that highlight some of our programs and initiatives (NASULGC story, Chris Street story), as well as stories about the success and contributions made by our faculty, staff and alumni (Leader in Education).
